Securonix Achieves FedRAMP In-process Authorization

Securonix a leader in Next-Gen SIEM, announced it has achieved a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) “In-Process” authorization, a precursor to becoming fully FedRAMP authorized. This designation demonstrates Securonix’s commitment to serving federal agencies and securing mission critical assets with its best-in-class security monitoring and analytics platform.

FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. Securonix is now listed on the FedRAMP marketplace and is actively working with a 3PAO to achieve and complete its FedRAMP authorization.

“We are pleased to achieve the in-process status, which is a key milestone for authorization,” said Sachin Nayyar, CEO of Securonix. “The public sector faces a unique set of challenges while also having the critical role of serving and protecting the American people’s security and privacy. The White House’s recent executive order aimed at improving public sector cyber posture highlights the fact U.S. public and private sector entities have become increasingly targeted by sophisticated nation-state actors and cybercriminals. This in-process determination is very timely and provides the federal market as well as the software supply chain with access to the Securonix platform to more effectively identify and respond to advanced threats.”

The Securonix platform delivers analytics-driven SIEM, XDR, SOAR, and NTA, with UEBA at its core, as a pure cloud solution. This commitment to a secure and compliant cloud architecture provides the public sector with cost savings and the required scalable cloud infrastructure to handle big data demands. Securonix continues to invest in engineering and product development efforts to strengthen its alignment with government cybersecurity policies and risk management objectives, in addition to supporting the federal contractor community and supply chain.

This commitment to federal government standards is a vital component of private sector support of federal cyber security initiatives to protect the homeland and its critical infrastructure.”

James Leach, Managing Principal/co-founder of Fortreum (FedRAMP 3PAO), stated “Getting more SIEM/SOAR cloud offerings FedRAMP authorized with sophisticated security capabilities like Securonix in the marketplace, will be a positive enhancement for federal customers.”
