In total, ResumeBuilder.com researchers gathered and analyzed responses from 750 full-time employees who use ChatGPT on a weekly basis.
According to survey results, 32 percent of full-time workers say they use ChatGPT on a weekly basis. Among these ChatGPT users, 55 percent say they use the tool to ‘summarize documents,’ 53 percent say ‘write emails,’ 52 percent say ‘content creation,’ and 45 percent say ‘translate text.’ By utilizing ChatGPT, 93 percent of these employees report time each week.Forty percent say using ChatGPT saves them 1 to 5 hours per week, 29 percent say 6 to 10 hours per week, 14 percent say 11 to 15 hours per week, 6 percent say 16 to 20 hours per week, and 4 percent say more than 20 hours per week.

With the time saved due to the usage of ChatGPT, 78 percent of workers say they ‘improved work/life balance.’ Likewise, 52 percent say they ‘improved mental health,’ ‘51 percent say they ‘spent more time with friends/family,’ ‘26 percent say they ‘started a side hustle,’ and 8 percent say they ‘got a second job.’
