Company expands its executive team to more aggressively scale its operations for AI-driven category management and revenue growth management for large Consumer Goods Manufacturers
Insite AI, a leading provider of AI-driven solutions for category and revenue growth management for the consumer goods (CPG) industry announced today that Jeff Smith and Steven Leven have joined the company’s executive team. Mr. Smith has been named company President and Mr. Leven has been appointed Chief Customer & Commercial Officer. “I am excited to have these two world class executives join the Insite AI management team,” said Shaveer Mirpuri, Insite AI Founder and Chairperson. “Demand from large consumer brands for our technology and domain expertise called for us to bring on high profile leaders. Mr. Smith comes to Insite AI from Revionics (Goldman Sachs-backed, now an Aptos company), which he founded in 2002. At Revionics he held numerous roles, including CEO, CTO, CMO, and EVP Corporate Development & Strategy. Smith also sat on the Revionics Board of Directors until the company’s sale in 2020. During his tenure the company became the global leader of price optimization solutions for the retail industry. Prior to launching Revionics, Jeff was a founding member of KhiMetrics (now SAP Khimetrics), a pioneer and leading provider of revenue management solutions for the retail market.

Chief Customer & Commercial Officer Steven Leven also joins Insite AI from Revionics, where he was Chief Operating & Customer Officer. In that role Steve was responsible for partnering with senior management at the largest US and global retailers to drive success, implementing best retail technology practices, and the delivery of world class analytics technology. While at Revionics, Mr. Leven was part of the senior management team that drove new business expansion into Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Prior to Revionics, Mr. Leven was Senior Vice President at M-Factor (now Acoustic), a leading SaaS provider of Trade Promotion & Marketing Spend Optimization solutions for leading consumer brands. Leven started his software career with ProfitLogic (now part of Oracle), an early innovator in markdown, price optimization, and assortment planning.
