HEAL Software Inc. Expands Advisory Board Leadership Team to Support Continued Growth
Leading AIOps brand adds four new members to its board; and secures additional funding

HEAL Software Inc., the leader in the IT operations preventive healing space, today introduced its advisory board. The advisory board members include Chet Mandair, Sundi Sundaresh, Larryi Ding and Suresh Vaidyanathan. This announcement follows on the heels of the company’s recent establishment of U.S. headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif. and its second round of financial backing from Avataar Venture Partners.

HEAL is the first artificial intelligence (AI) software that enables IT operations teams to find and fix problems before they happen. Leveraging machine learning (ML) models and AI algorithms, it can perform correlations between cross-platform events, provide highly accurate capacity projections and pinpoint previously imperceptible early warning signals before a problem occurs.

The expanded advisory board works alongside HEAL’s board of directors to provide support around product direction, scaling strategies and go-to-market plans. They were selected by the board of directors, currently led by Mohan Kumar, founder and managing partner of Avataar Venture Partners; Mike Mulica, executive chairman of AlefEdge; Paddy Padmanabhan, advisor of HEAL Software Inc.; and George Thangadurai, CEO of HEAL Software Inc. The newest additions to this powerhouse team include:

  • Chet Mandair, CIO, Guidewire Software
    Chet Mandair is an accomplished digital transformation leader who brings over 20 years of experience delivering successful business outcomes. He is a mentor at Alchemist Accelerator and an early investor.
  • Sundi Sundaresh, board member, GridGain Systems
    Sundi Sundaresh is a board member at GridGain Systems, an innovative leader enabling in-memory computing platforms. He has also served on the board for SandForce and was the president and CEO of Adaptec, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience leading high-growth businesses in the tech industry.

  • Larryi Ding, former executive, AT&T
    Larryi Ding is a seasoned global business professional that has served for more than a decade in executive roles at AT&T. His prior experience includes time at Alcatel Lucent, Booz Allen Hamilton and Mitsubishi Electric. He is now co-founder and CEO of ABLELIFE and is an advisor and board member in multiple startups. He is well-connected with deep knowledge across multiple industries.
  • Suresh Vaidyanathan, former SVP of IT Infrastructure, HP
    Suresh Vaidyanathan is a seasoned IT executive and was senior vice president and global head of IT infrastructure and enterprise services at HP until December 2020. Prior to this role, he was VP of IT services at Agilent, senior director at Oracle and started his career at Eicher Goodearth.

Avataar Venture Partners, which initially backed HEAL in 2019, has now provided an additional capital. This will support its U.S. team after the recent acquisition of the IP and assets of Appnomic, which has been integral to its pivot in product strategy to create the industry’s first AI IT infrastructure operations platform (AIOps).
