Object First, the ransomware-proof on-premises backup storage company, announced that it has received two prestigious cybersecurity awards celebrating its innovation and commitment to protecting organizations against ransomware attacks.

The company was named the winner in the “Data Security” category of Cyber Defense Magazine’s 2026 Top InfoSec Innovators Awards and was voted “Ransomware Protection and Recovery Company of the Year” in the 18th annual Computing Security Awards program. With the latter determined by a public vote from across the technology community, both honors underscore Object First’s growing industry recognition as a leader in enterprise data protection and cyber resilience.

As ransomware attacks become more frequent and disruptive, organizations are struggling to ensure their backup data will be there when they need it most. Object First-sponsored Omdia research found that 83% of organizations experienced a successful ransomware attack in the past two years, yet only 39% recovered at least 75% of their data. While 93% of technology leaders consider absolutely immutable backup storage critical to ransomware protection, only 16% say their current environment meets that standard, leaving a significant gap between recovery readiness and reality.

Object First delivers secure, simple, and powerful backup storage for Veeam® software environments that’s absolutely immutable, which means that no one—neither cybercriminals nor insiders—can alter the firmware, operating system, storage layer, or backup data. Third-party tested and verified to be secure, Object First ransomware-proofs organizations and makes them simply resilient to cyberthreats.

“Organizations need confidence that their backup data will remain protected, even when other defenses are compromised,” said David Bennett, CEO, Object First. “Being recognized by both the industry and the editorial community is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the strength of our product, our team, and our partner ecosystem. As cyberthreats continue to evolve, we remain committed to making ransomware resilience both effective and accessible, helping organizations recover from attacks without unnecessary complexity.”

These latest wins join Object First’s growing list of industry accolades. Most recently, the company was named “Post-Breach Recovery Solution of the Year” in the 10th annual 2026 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards program and earned two honors at The Storage Awards 2026: “Ransomware Company of the Year” and “Enterprise Backup Hardware Vendor of the Year.” Cyber Defense Magazine named Object First a 2026 Global InfoSec Award winner in the “Hot Company Data Security” category, and the company was recognized with a 2026 Channel Program Excellence Award from TMC. CRN also recognized Object First across four of its 2026 lists: the Partner Program Guide, Cloud 100, 100 People You Don’t Know But Should, and MES Midmarket 100.
