Agencies and defense industrial base partners can now monitor supplier risk continuously across 250M+ businesses, replacing point-in-time surveys with automated, always-on visibility
interos.ai, the AI-powered supply chain risk intelligence company, announced it has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Class D Certification in partnership with Knox Systems (Knox), the largest, longest-running federal managed cloud. The authorization clears interos.ai to operate inside federal environments, giving agencies and the defense industrial base continuous, predictive risk intelligence they can act on before risk reaches the critical path.
The platform’s reach is what makes prediction possible. interos.ai scores risk across more than 250 million businesses and maps 11 billion buyer-supplier relationships, extending visibility past Tier-1 suppliers into the sub-tiers where downstream and adversarial exposure usually hides. Coverage spans six risk categories in one continuously updated view: financial, cyber, geopolitical, restrictions, catastrophic, and ESG.

For federal teams, that translates into specific capabilities:
- Quantified supplier risk scoring:iScore® lets agencies quantify and compare supplier risk in real time, surfacing hidden vulnerabilities before they affect a program.
- Full defense industrial base visibility: Continuously updated mapping across Tier-1 and sub-tier suppliers, so adversarial and downstream exposure has nowhere to hide.
- Restricted-party and adversary exclusion at scale: Automated detection of restricted and prohibited entities across every supplier tier, directly supporting Federal Acquisition Security Council (FASC) compliance and mission assurance.
- Faster, more rigorous supplier down-select: Detailed risk profiles let program managers evaluate and down-select suppliers without waiting on slow, incomplete surveys.
“Federal agencies and the defense industrial base can’t afford to find out about supplier risk after it’s already threatened a program,” said Yardley Pohl, Chief Product & Technology Officer of interos.ai. “With interos.ai, we’re supporting federal agencies with the kind of continuous, predictive intelligence that turns supply chain risk management from a compliance checkbox into a mission assurance capability, giving program managers the visibility they need before risk reaches the critical path.”
Knox’s managed cloud infrastructure compressed the FedRAMP timeline and cost that often stall vendors before they reach federal customers.
“As federal agencies continue to increase the use of commercial technologies, they must be able to trust their supply chains and, until recently, few of the tools built to secure them could operate inside federal environments,” said Irina Denisenko, CEO of Knox Systems. “With its FedRAMP Class D Certification, interos.ai is bringing its predictive analytics platform for supply chain risk to the agencies and defense industrial base partners to ensure that national security supply chains are resilient.”
