Aurora Networks now offers the widest, most flexible 50G portfolio, with shelf OLTs for the headend, remote OLTs for the plant, ONUs for the subscriber, and intelligent vBNG / management software necessary for today’s multi-GB race.
“Aurora Networks helps operators modernize on their own terms; our platform-agnostic architectures and interoperable technologies enable operators to evolve with lower risk, greater flexibility and smarter modernization,” said Guy Sucharczuk, SVP & president, Aurora Networks. “With the latest additions to our portfolio, we also make it easier for customers who want more options as they upgrade to 50G, and to modernize operations with AI. We’re leading the industry, creating products that support any upgrade path our customers choose.”
The expanded PON Evo portfolio unveils a variety of solutions to meet operators’ needs including supporting:
- ITU-T co-existence mode – supporting GPON, XGS-PON and 50G PON on the same fiber
- 10G EPON and 50G PON co-existence
- DOCSIS provisioning and back-office for both ITU-T PON and IEEE PON (EPON)
- Easier deployment with SDN activation, streaming telemetry, zero-touch provisioning
- Deployment in Aurora Networks’ premier node housings and VHUBs
Aurora Networks is also showing a Unified DOCSIS 4.0 Smart Amplifier which combines support for both Full Duplex DOCSIS (FDX) and Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) / Extended Spectrum DOCSIS (ESD) out to 1.8 GHz in a single amplifier device with built-in cable modem. Along with the remote management capabilities supported by all our Smart Amplifiers, service providers can now deploy one common amplifier for any network architecture, while reducing management costs.
In addition to unveiling these new solutions, the global provider of intelligent network solutions will also showcase:
- ServAssure® NXT AI – A catalog of cable and PON network surveillance and optimization solutions delivered in conjunction with our partner DvSum. As previously announced, our AI and automation solutions enable operations teams to analyze quickly and deliver triage to restore service faster.
- IP Video and Advertising Solutions – The award-winning video portfolio provides solutions to efficiently streamline operations and lower total cost of ownership while also optimizing network operation. As part of a wider strategy of bandwidth optimization, migration to IP video can help reclaim portions of the RF spectrum to increase network capacities and speeds.
- PKI and Security Solutions – Aurora Networks’ solutions secure the cable industry’s manufacturing and software supply chains and has branched into mobile, semiconductors, and other areas that require connected device security. PKI services, secure code signing, and software assurance help operators protect valuable network assets, ensure compliance, and build subscriber trust in every connection.
- Professional Services – Aurora Networks’ Professional Services team helps network operators design, deploy, expand and evolve their networks, and has been doing so for more than two decades. For service providers that require a complete HFC/FTTx solution, Aurora Networks offers a unique combination of services that will help providers achieve their goals.
