Keeper Security and SailPoint Partner to Automate Privileged Access Governance

Integrates SailPoint’s Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) with Keeper’s Identity Security Platform which enforces privileged access and governance across all identities

Keeper Security, the leading zero-trust and zero-knowledge identity security and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform, announces an integration with SailPoint, a leader in identity governance, access and compliance. The Keeper SaaS Connector links SailPoint’s IGA platform directly to KeeperPAM. The integration allows SailPoint to control the provisioning, deprovisioning and entitlements of Keeper users, vaults and managed resources.

For most organizations, identity governance and privileged access management have operated as separate systems with no automated handoff between them. IGA platforms define who should have access, managing the approvals, controls and certifications that keep organizations compliant. PAM platforms enforce that access, delivering just-in-time access to privileged identities and resources secured in a zero-knowledge encrypted vault. Without a connection between the two, every access decision made in governance had to be manually carried out in the vault – and every role change, revocation or offboarding risked leaving privileged credentials behind. That cleanup fell to manual processes that were slow, inconsistent and error-ridden. Keeper’s 2026 research found that 96% of senior IT leaders say disconnected security tools are creating exploitable gaps, and 64% do not yet operate with fully consolidated privileged access governance.

Keeper’s tight integration with SailPoint is unique. Provisioning of vaults, assignment of roles and entitlements defined in SailPoint are seamlessly provisioned into Keeper automatically across team memberships, shared folders, roles, nodes, records and administrative permissions. Access certifications cover the privileged credentials Keeper holds, so reviews reflect actual access. Organizations can configure which entitlement types SailPoint manages within Keeper, and credentials are never exposed to SailPoint throughout the process, preserving Keeper’s zero-knowledge architecture. Every grant, update and revocation is logged automatically across both platforms.

For federal agencies, the integration directly supports compliance with NIST Special Publication 800-53 Rev. 5 requirements for account management, least privilege enforcement and privileged credential control. When SailPoint runs a scheduled access certification, the review now includes the privileged credentials, NHIs and identities being managed by Keeper, giving auditors a complete and reconciled record across both platforms.
