Randall brings more than 20 years of cybersecurity leadership across highly regulated industries and Fortune 500 environments to Guidepost Solutions’ Privacy practice

Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in domestic and international investigations, compliance solutions, monitoring, and security and technology consulting, announced the appointment of Karen Randall as a senior managing director in its Privacy practice. She will focus on supporting clients with taking a practical and thoughtful approach to cybersecurity, enterprise risk, and AI adoption. Randall will also work with leadership teams, helping them understand how AI can create real business value and where the risks lie, and how to move forward responsibly.

“Karen is known for being collaborative, creative and solutions oriented, and she brings a rare combination of executive leadership and deep technical expertise,” said, CEO of Guidepost Solutions, Julie Myers Wood. “Her career has been defined by building and strengthening security programs while guiding corporations through evolving regulatory challenges. Randall has spent her career working alongside executives, boards, and investors, helping organizations navigate complex challenges and make confident decisions when the stakes are high. Before joining Guidepost Solutions, she built and led enterprise security functions from the ground up, serving as both CISO and virtual CISO for Amino Health during periods of rapid growth, transformation, and acquisition. Randall’s experience includes information security, governance, and privacy across healthcare, financial services, and technology.

Randall’s background includes senior leadership and advisory roles at SFG, where she served as executive vice president. She developed international GRC and penetration testing teams and delivered cybersecurity risk management and solution architecture to clients across a range of industries. Randall also served as a principal investigator at NASA, leading research projects in near-earth object detection and ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive scientific data. Earlier in her career, Randall spent over a decade at the SETI Institute as director of special projects, where she directed major research and educational initiatives.
