Marc van Zadelhoff brings more than two decades of cybersecurity and enterprise software leadership, with a strong record of scaling global businesses, repositioning product portfolios, and driving market-defining go-to-market strategy. He serves as CEO of Mimecast, where he has expanded the company’s international footprint, strengthened its platform, and deepened its role in the cybersecurity ecosystem. Marc previously served as CEO of Devo Technology, leading global scale and significant capital investment, and as COO of LogMeIn during a major multi-product transformation. Earlier in his career, he built IBM Security into one of the world’s largest cybersecurity businesses at roughly $2.5B in annual revenue. His expertise in product strategy, category creation, and ecosystem development aligns directly with Team Cymru’s next chapter and enables immediate alignment across product, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

“I have long believed that effective cybersecurity goes beyond infrastructure and must centre on human behaviour, ecosystem visibility and decisive action,” said Marc van Zadelhoff, Independent Director, Team Cymru. “With Team Cymru’s unique vantage point in threat intelligence and observability, the potential to shift from insight to impact is real. I am excited to partner with the leadership team and Board as we sharpen the product roadmap, deepen differentiation and bring intelligence into the hands of defenders who are protecting human life.

Mark Lorion is a seasoned SaaS operator with extensive experience scaling software businesses through high growth, complex transformations, and multi-product integration. As CEO of Tempo Software, he led the company through record expansion–completing five acquisitions, unifying product lines, and scaling ARR more than fivefold to well over $100M in under four years–while sustaining profitable, Rule-of-40-plus performance. Previously, Mark served as COO of Digital.ai, helping integrate and expand a large DevSecOps platform, and held senior leadership roles at Arxan and Apperian, where he rebuilt product and marketing engines, repositioned offerings, and guided both companies to successful exits. His expertise across segmentation, positioning, pricing, partner strategy, marketing architecture, and revenue systems design, in both founder-led and PE-backed environments, will strengthen Team Cymru’s ability to scale predictably and efficiently, in alignment with its long-term strategy.

“At scale, SaaS companies succeed when product strategy and commercial execution are tightly aligned, with clear market positioning driving repeatable demand,” said Mark Lorion, Independent Director, Team Cymru. “Team Cymru is at a pivotal inflection point, as its intelligence platform, network effects, and community insight position it to protect customers by turning threat intelligence into decisive action. I look forward to working with the Board and leadership to sharpen the go-to-market engine and build predictable, durable growth in service of that mission.”

“Marc and Mark are exceptional leaders with rare depth across cybersecurity, SaaS operations, and modern go-to-market strategy. Their experience aligns directly with where Team Cymru is heading as we scale our threat intelligence capabilities and expand the reach of our community-driven initiatives,” said Joe Sander, CEO, Team Cymru. “threat landscape demands solutions that not only detect malicious activity but meaningfully disrupt it. With their guidance, we will continue advancing products and partnerships that move the needle for defenders globally. Their values are tightly aligned with our mission to save and protect human life, and we are honored to welcome them to our Board.”

The addition of Marc and Mark brings the exact capabilities needed to guide Team Cymru through its next stage of growth. Their leadership will help sharpen our product and market strategy, strengthen our competitive differentiation, and build a more cohesive go-to-market and demand engine. They will also help deepen alignment across product, marketing, and sales while providing seasoned operational guidance as we scale globally. Together, they bring the strategic insight required to evaluate future M&A opportunities, assess integration risk, and drive long-term value creation for the organization.
