Globalgig, a leader in global managed communication and connectivity solutions, today announced the expansion of its managed security portfolio with new scalable tiers designed to meet the needs of enterprise organizations and distributed IT environments. Built for organizations that want to retain control over their security environment while supplementing their team with expert Security Operations Center (SOC) support, the expanded offering provides:

  • Essential protection, policy enforcement, and visibility
  • Scalability to support future growth and evolving needs
  • Flexible service levels based on in-house IT capabilities
  • A broader menu of managed support options, including flexible choices for administrative and SOC services

These new tiers extend Globalgig’s security portfolio beyond Globalgig’s Premier Security Management solution, offering customers more control and choice based on their IT resources and security maturity. The expanded options are particularly valuable for organizations offering IT teams the ability to retain control while gaining expert support to balance agility with risk mitigation.

  • Fundamental Security Management provides core administrative support, including user account management, group policy assignments, and access controls.
  • Plus Security Management includes advanced security monitoring, threat identification and investigation, and remediation guidance.
  • Premier Security Management delivers a comprehensive Zero Trust as a Service (ZTaaS) solution with continuous security monitoring, full policy remediation and enforcement, and compliance-ready protection.

Powered by Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access, Globalgig’s Managed SSE (Secure Service Edge) service delivers features, including secure web gateway (SWG), cloud access security broker (CASB), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)—through a cloud-delivered platform built to scale with enterprise needs. All managed security services can be paired with Globalgig’s orchestration support and Orchestra Insight platform, providing end-to-end visibility into network performance, policy enforcement, and threat landscape.

“The modern WAN demands security that evolves with a rapidly changing landscape—with users, apps, and threats spread across geographies,” explained Greg Bryan, Senior Manager at TeleGeography. “Partnering with a managed services provider for SSE can be crucial for enterprises to make sure they have integrated, expert-led protection that keeps pace with change—without adding complexity.”

Globalgig simplifies the path to robust, scalable protection.”

The new Managed Security service tiers will be available for direct and partner-led engagements beginning in May.
