Qrypt, the leading provider of U.S. quantum security solutions, today announced the appointment of Nick Lippis to its Board of Advisors. An engineer by training and a recognized technology strategist, Lippis brings decades of experience advancing deep, disruptive technologies. He is the co-founder of ONUG (Open Network User Group), a collaborative community of IT business leaders and engineers focused on enterprise infrastructure, and most recently launched the AI Networking Summit, further cementing his role at the forefront of AI-driven infrastructure and next-gen networking.

“Quantum computing is coming much faster than most think. Since November 2024, some nine quantum chips have been announced. Hackers and rogue nation-states are harvesting passwords waiting for ‘Q-Day,’ while the window to secure digital assets is closing. Qrypt is the only company offering quantum entropy solutions to mitigate this massive threat,” said Nick Lippis.

Qrypt’s foundational quantum entropy capabilities were developed in exclusive partnership with Los Alamos and Oak Ridge National Laboratories. This technology powers a suite of quantum-secure solutions—including the Quantum Entropy Appliance, Quantum-Secure IPsec Gateway, Digital Quantum Key Distribution (DQKD), and Q-Isolate—that eliminate “harvest now, decrypt later” risk. Together, these offerings make quantum security scalable, interoperable, and ready for deployment across today’s most sensitive enterprise and government environments.

“Nick’s track record of building communities, shaping technology agendas, and driving adoption at scale is second to none,” said Kevin Chalker, CEO and Founder of Qrypt. “He’s spent decades connecting engineers and executives working at the frontier of what’s possible. We’ve already benefited from the ONUG ecosystem he built, and I’m excited to deepen that relationship.”

Lippis joins at a time of rapid enterprise momentum around quantum security, and his counsel will be instrumental as Qrypt continues its expansion into commercial and public sector markets.
