Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting company, immediately appointed Sanjeev Jain as its Chief Operating Officer. Sanjeev takes over from Amit Choudhary, who is resigning to explore opportunities beyond the organization. Reporting to Srinivas Pallia, Sanjeev will maintain his position on Wipro’s Executive Committee.
Sanjeev Jain’s Leadership Journey at Wipro
Sanjeev Jain joined Wipro in 2023 as the Global Head of Business Operations, drawing on over 30 years of experience leading large, diverse teams. His expertise includes scaling up global operations and deploying principles of Lean Six Sigma and design thinking for operational excellence and business transformation.
Over the last year, Sanjeev has led Wipro’s talent supply chain, managing its work platform, TopGear, talent skilling, global mobility, talent acquisition, and business resilience. Under his leadership, the company has strategized and implemented Wipro’s AI training and upskilling approach.

What will be Sanjeev’s Role as a Chief Operating Officer at Wipro?
As the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, Sanjeev Jain will guide efforts at Wipro in building a client-centric delivery organization that ensures sustainable, profitable, and delivery-led growth. He will be in charge of the following: Global Business Operations, the Chief Information Office, the Chief Information Security Office, and the Enterprise Risk Management function. Sanjeev will also actively collaborate with the leadership teams across Wipro to move transformation initiatives forward.
Sanjeev has a deep background from his prior leadership roles at Kyndryl Holdings (the IBM spin-off), IBM, Cognizant, and GE, where he has repeatedly shown an outstanding record of enabling profitable growth through the integration of talent supply chains and driving margin expansion by streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
