StreamSets Expands Native Cloud Solutions For Modern Data Integration

DataOps Platform company achieves SOC 2 certification and Amazon Web Services Data and Analytics Competency, adding Intel and HPE as platform partners

StreamSets, provider of the industry’s first DataOps platform announced new certifications to grow its cloud presence for modern data integration in the enterprise. StreamSets’ recent cloud growth amplifies the value it offers to customers looking to continuously flow big, streaming and traditional data to their data science and data analytics applications. StreamSets, an Amazon Advanced Technology Partner, has achieved both the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data and Analytics Competency and the Amazon Linux 2 Ready designation, part of the AWS Service Ready Program. The company also added Intel and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) as platform partners, launching Intel Optimized offerings on AWS and Azure Marketplaces. StreamSets Control Hub has also been issued a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II report by Sensiba San Filippo, certified public accountants and business advisors.

Working with AWS, StreamSets combines DataOps agility with the power and scale of the AWS ecosystem through its cloud-native integration. Achieving the AWS Data & Analytics Competency differentiates StreamSets as an AWS Partner that provides specialized demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success with specific focus on Technology for Data Migration. To receive the designation, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS. In addition, the Amazon Linux 2 Ready designation differentiates StreamSets as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member with a generally available product that runs on Amazon Linux 2 and is fully supported for AWS customers.

With StreamSets and AWS, customers can move massive amounts of data very quickly into Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) or Amazon Redshift using any legacy or on-premises data source. Customers can migrate data while managing their AWS resources using StreamSets Transformer, which includes data bulk loading and ingestion, cluster management for Amazon Redshift and Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR), and enterprise control for Amazon S3.

Furthering the value of its cloud platforms for customers, StreamSets partnered with Intel to offer AWS- and Azure-optimized machine instances for higher performance and processing speeds without significantly increasing costs. StreamSets also partnered with HPE Ezmeral Container Platform, resulting in a collaboration that combines the benefits of a hybrid DataOps platform with a best-in-class container platform with open-source Kubernetes.
