Vesta Successfully Completes SOC 2 Type 2 Security Audit with No Exceptions

Vesta, the next generation loan origination system (LOS), is proud to announce that it has been SOC 2 certified with no exceptions, demonstrating our commitment to data security and compliance.

Building and deploying complex software to financial institutions that consumers trust with their most sensitive data, requires significant rigor and discipline to ensure that data is handled safely and securely.

SOC 2 Type 2 certification is a rigorous third party assessment that demonstrates a company’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of security, availability, processing integrity, and privacy for it’s customers. The certification process included a thorough audit of Vesta’s internal controls, policies, and procedures, as well as technical infrastructure, to ensure they met the requirements of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Principles and Criteria.

“We’re extremely proud to have built for security and compliance from day one at Vesta, instead of retrofitting our behaviors and procedures to be compliant later on. This is a level of compliance that can take years to prepare for, and is usually reserved for larger organizations – I’m proud of our rigor and high standards on this critical component of our company,” said Devon Yang, Vesta co-founder and CTO.
