QuintessenceLabs Chosen as Inaugural Member of the Quantum Security Alliance

QuintessenceLabs, an industry leader in quantum cybersecurity, announced it has been named the first private-sector member of the Quantum Security Alliance (QSA) Strategic Information Sharing Partnership (SISP) program. The QSA was established in December 2018 and has been working rapidly to provide context to the emerging security landscape for Quantum Computing (QC). In the last several years of activity, the QSA has worked on numerous efforts, including aiding the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), Quantum Tech Congress, and the National Defense University (NDU) in building a working knowledge-sharing model.

HONEYWELL CYBERSECURITY RESEARCH REVEALS 52% OF CYBER THREATS TARGETED AT REMOVABLE MEDIA

According to a report released by Honeywell, the threat of USB-borne malware continues to be a serious concern. Data from the 2022 Honeywell Industrial Cybersecurity USB Threat Report indicates that 52% of threats were specifically designed to utilize removable media, up from 32% the previous year and more than double the 19% reported in the 2020 study, clearly indicating that the threats designed to use removable media have reached a dangerously high level.

Pick n Pay Selects AWS as Its Strategic Cloud Provider

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com, Inc. company announced that Pick n Pay Group, a leading retail business operating in South African and other selected African countries, has migrated its entire on-premises information technology (IT) infrastructure to AWS. Pick n Pay worked with Lemongrass Consulting an AWS Premier Consulting Partner with Migration and SAP Consulting Competencies to migrate its on-premises SAP environment to AWS and implement a modern SAP HANA platform. Moving to the cloud will enable Pick n Pay to streamline its operations and modernize the supply chain network for its stores, develop new digital customer experiences in omnichannel grocery, and expand into new areas of business.
