Former CEO and Director of Motion Acquisition Corp brings more than 20 years of leadership experience as IntelliShift charts latest expansion
IntelliShift, the leading cloud-based fleet and safety management platform, announced the addition of Michael Burdiek to its company board of directors. Burdiek, most recently the CEO and Director of Motion Acquisition Corp, brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, as well as extensive board advisory expertise, to IntelliShift. Prior to founding Motion Acquisition Corp, he spent nine years as the CEO and a board member of CalAmp, where he was instrumental in the company’s transition to a SaaS business model and in helping strengthen its mobile technology offerings.
“We see an incredible long-term opportunity in delivering a solution that not only improves decision-making, but optimizes fleets across their ecosystem. We look forward to leveraging Michael’s insights as we continue making this value a reality for our customers.”
Burdiek joins IntelliShift at an exciting time, as the company charts its next stage of product growth and innovation. As a member of the board, Burdiek will advise the organization on its transformative strategy to help solve key industry challenges and address new opportunities. This includes recent enhancements to IntelliShift’s AI Video dash camera solution, which increases on-the-road safety and improves driver experience and retention as the industry grapples with record high talent shortages. Burdiek’s industry expertise will be key to building upon this approach to better serve customers and deliver exceptional business outcomes.
