Hashicorp Announces 1Password, Cisco, Citrix, Elastic and Fortinet among New Verified Terraform Providers
HashiCorp, the maker of Terraform ecosystem, has announced the addition of new verified technology providers. Twenty-seven new verified providers would be eligible to help customers adopt and deploy Terraform. Today, there are 1300+ vendors and the ecosystem is exploding as Cloud and IaaS customers lookout for a reliable infrastructure to manage their physical and virtual machines (VMs) in multi-Cloud environments from remote locations.
Terraform ecosystem consists of all the IT and DevOps, and networking platforms that are required to manage and integrate physical machines, VMs, network switches, containers, storage, and analytics. Any resource that involves working with Windows, Linux, SaaS, IaaS, and Cloud can be represented as a Terraform resource.
A Terraform provider offers integration that connects to:
- Public Cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc.
- SaaS, PaaS, IaaS
- On-premise resources
- Cloud security and identity access management, and so on.
