ForgeRock Identity Cloud Achieves SOC 2 Type II Certification

This certification serves as additional third-party industry validation that ForgeRock provides enterprise-grade security, availability, confidentiality and privacy for customer data managed by the ForgeRock Identity Cloud. Earning a SOC 2 Type II certification endorses the effectiveness of how these controls have worked for the past six months since ForgeRock earned a SOC 2 Type 1 certification earlier this year.

The ForgeRock Identity Cloud helps organizations focus on elevating customer experiences and security instead of running IAM solutions and infrastructure. It delivers a comprehensive set of IAM capabilities and is the only SaaS-delivered identity platform purpose-built for the enterprise. ForgeRock Identity Cloud offers today’s hybrid enterprise strong security with patented data isolation technology and options to augment SaaS with ForgeRock’s flexible IAM software deployment options.

“ForgeRock is committed to ensuring our customer’s data is managed with the highest standard of security and compliance,” said Russ Kirby, Chief Information Security Officer, ForgeRock. “Our SOC 2 Type II and SOC 2 Type I certifications illustrate our ongoing work to help ensure security and compliance across our global customer base.”

The SOC 2 Type II certification is given to service organizations that meet stringent requirements related to security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems the service organization uses to process users’ data, and the confidentiality and privacy of the information processed by these systems. The certification indicates how effective, well designed and implemented the controls are during the time period. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) SOC 2 Type II audit was performed by Schellman & Company, an IT compliance Attestation Services organization, to verify the certification.

ForgeRock has been named a leader in access management by the top three analyst firms, including the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Access Management.
