  Migration Solution for IBM Cloud

SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner SE, a world-leading provider of software solutions for digital transformation processes and automated data migrations in the SAP environment, has developed new move to cloud software for IBM Cloud migrations. “Cloud Move for IBM” is part of SNP’s data transformation platform CrystalBridge®  which offers automated solutions for IT and business transformations including cloud projects. Cloud Move for IBM is tailored to help customers assess the specific sizing requirements for IBM Cloud for SAP workloads to ease the migration process.

The new offering enables automated solutions for IT and business transformations, as companies migrate mission-critical SAP workloads to hybrid cloud environments. Customers can harness the new software to adapt the cloud sizing to their specific business needs. CrystalBridge®  automatically calculates the ideal size of the target SAP system in IBM Cloud based on a scan of the current SAP system running on-premises and offers various deployment and flexible filtering options. It is designed to provide customers with cloud sizing in real time and with full cost transparency.

The new software was developed to enable both partners and end customers to plan and prepare cloud migration projects with speed and accuracy. This new cloud infrastructure analysis offering for IBM Cloud is an extension to the Analysis module of CrystalBridge®  that supplies a comprehensive evaluation of SAP landscapes. In addition, the process analysis solution developed with IBM analyzes the impact of the SAP S/4HANA®  migration on the business processes of customers. The solution provides customers with a reliable basis for making decisions on a wide variety of transformation scenarios, which can significantly reduce project preparation time. Enterprises can migrate their SAP S/4HANA workloads to the IBM Cloud by harnessing the IBM Rapid Move for SAP S/4 HANA approach coupled with more than 200 IBM Cloud services.
