To ensure its data movement and management software stays at the cutting edge in performance, reliability, and ease of use, Model9, a member of IBM’s Partners in Development Program has announced the purchase of an IBM z15 mainframe server. Maintec, a global provider of mainframe outsourcing and data center management provided installation services and was chosen as Model9โ€™s Mainframe Managed Service Partner.

โ€œThe Model9 z15 will be a powerful asset for our product development and quality assurance programs,โ€ noted Gil Peleg, Model9 CEO. Model9 has been growing massively through the pandemic period, tripling its size both in number of customers and headcount, as organizations seek to maximize the value of their mainframe investments while also leveraging the capabilities of the cloud. Model9 customers include leading global enterprises from the financial, transportation & airlines, government and retail sectors, all Global 2000 companies. Model9 also recently expanded its footprint in Japan, Australia, and South Africa.
