Nerdio, the definitive Microsoft Azure deployment, management, and optimization solution for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and enterprise IT professionals, announced support for Microsoft’s Windows 365 and Teradici’s PC over IP (PCoIP) technology. With these advancements, Nerdio Manager is now the most sophisticated Azure desktop virtualization management solution available on the market.

“With our cutting-edge PCoIP technology, Nerdio Manager for Enterprise users will be able to deploy Teradici CAS, the most secure, highly responsive remote solution for their cloud environments, with support for even the most graphics-intensive applications.”

Following Microsoft’s launch of Windows 365, Nerdio Manager for MSP and Nerdio Manager for Enterprise, formerly known as Nerdio Manager for Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), have been expanded to allow users to choose between Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365. With Nerdio’s publicly available Cost Estimator tool, users can determine which desktop virtualization model makes the most sense for their specific use case based on price and functionality.

Recently announced, Windows 365 is a service that introduces a new way to experience Windows 10 or Windows 11 in the cloud on any device. This creates an entirely new computing category called Cloud PC which provides a full, personalized Windows experience – including apps, content, and settings – on any device.

“Nerdio Manager delivers everything MSPs and enterprise IT professionals need to create new revenue opportunities by packaging and managing Microsoft’s Windows 365 for their customers,” said Scott Manchester, Partner Director of Program Management, Cloud Managed Desktops at Microsoft. “We are thrilled to partner with Nerdio to deliver this one-of-a-kind solution that significantly advances the management and optimization of Azure virtual desktops.”

Nerdio has also partnered with Teradici to offer support for PC over IP (PCoIP®) technology in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments managed with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise. Teradici’s PCoIP® display protocol compresses, encrypts and transmits only pixels to a broad range of software clients, mobile clients, thin clients and stateless PCoIP® Zero Clients. This integration will provide Nerdio Manager for Enterprise users the option to enable PCoIP® in their deployments to improve display protocol performance and further secure enterprise environments by ensuring no business information leaves the cloud.

“Partnering with Nerdio allows us to bring the industry’s best remote user experience to the forerunning Azure deployment and management solution on the market,” explained Ziad Lammam, VP Product Management at Teradici. “With our cutting-edge PCoIP technology, Nerdio Manager for Enterprise users will be able to deploy Teradici CAS, the most secure, highly responsive remote solution for their cloud environments, with support for even the most graphics-intensive applications.”

In addition to these integrations, Nerdio Manager for MSP has received several additional updates, including the ability to white label the management portal. Now, MSPs have the ability to brand the interface with their logo and colors and activate a dark mode theme.
