Upgrade of Fastweb’s network inventory improves time-to-market agility and overall customer experience, playing a key role in Italian operator’s transformation journey
Amdocs, a leading provider of software and services to communications and media companies, announced that it has completed a modernization project with Fastweb that will enable the Italian telecoms operator to provide innovative new services at speed to its customers in the 5G and cloud era.
The completion of the project has allowed Fastweb to launch modernized mission-critical systems as part of a wider transformation program that is creating an open and dynamic IT infrastructure.

As part of the deal, Amdocs has upgraded Fastweb’s network inventory. Amdocs’ next-generation OSS (operations support systems) solutions have enabled Fastweb to improve operational performance and time-to-market agility while enhancing quality of service and the overall experience for its customers. A joint Fastweb-Amdocs Center of Excellence has also been established to ensure ongoing innovation and improvements.
